An old hand-stitched doll with the number nine written on its back comes to life in a world destroyed by war between man and machine. "9 " discovers that he is not alone, as there are others with a single digit on their backs like him who may be man's last hope of salvation.

The Challenge

Engage Comic-Con 2009 attendees in a unique and compelling manner.

Directed by Shane Acker, and produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov, 9 brilliantly explores how one soul can change the world while displaying stunning "steampunk" visuals. FOCUS Features tasked Warbasse with design and mobile strategies to promote the film at Comic-Con 2009.

The presentation for 9 the movie at Comic-Con 2009 in San Diego, California, marked the first digital one-sheet to promote a feature film. 9, featuring Shane Acker, Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, Elijah Wood, and Jennifer Connelly, was received with great enthusiasm at Comic-Con 2009, generating an avalanche of additional press and social media exposure for the film before its' release.

Digital One-Sheet

Warbasse created the first digital one-sheet to promote a feature film for FOCUS Feature - 9, the movie. Presented at Comic-Con 2009, the 9 digital one-sheet directed users who scanned the QR Code to Google Showtimes and tickets through MovieFone.com.
